Kdo jsemNarodila jsem se a vyrostla v Mariánskách Lázních v Západních Čechách. V roce 1985 jsem emigrovala do Rakouska a v roce 1988 do USA. Žiji ve státě Washington blízko města Seattle. Mám ráda knihy, přírodu a svou práci. KvalifikaceV Čechách jsem složila státní zkoušku z angličtiny. Ve státě Washington jsem potvrzená tlumočnice a překladatelka pro češtinu, slovenštinu, ruštinu, ukrajinštinu a nemčinu. Jsem také registrovaná soudní tlumočnice. VzděláníVysoká škola strojní a elektrotechnická v Plzni. PraxePracuji jako tlumočnice a překladatelka s malými přestávkami od roku 1985. Tlumočím hlavně v nemocnicích a jiných zdravotnických zařízeních, na sociálních úřadech, soudech a imigračních úřadech. Z překladů jsem hlavně dělala nemocniční záznamy, osobní doklady, dopisy, literární překlady, turistické brožury, atd.
