About me

I was born and raised in Czech Republic. Since 1988 I have been living in Seattle area, state of Washington, USA. I love books, nature and my work.

Qualifications

Washington State certified medical and social services interpreter and translator in Czech, Slovak, Russian, Ukrainian and German. Registered Court Interpreter.

Education

Bachelor Degree in Computer Programming from the Electrical Engineering Faculty in Czech Republic.

Experience

I have been working as an interpreter and translator since 1985 with a few short brakes. I mostly interpret at medical offices and hospitals, social service offices, courts and immigration offices.

My translations were mostly medical records, personal documents, literary work, travel brochures.

Interests

I love reading, especially historical novels. I love nature and the outdoors, and travelling in general.
